You don't have to travel far for a place that quietens you. The floodplains of the Vecht valley, the rolling fields of Twente, the still forests of Drenthe, the hill country of South Limburg. Regions you may have known all your life, or that you truly see here for the first time. We know every corner of them, and we're glad to tell you where the finest path begins.
The taste of the region
What grows and is made here is what we most like to pour. Our own beer from brewery 't Laer. Kris's coconut macaroons, which people come back for especially. Grapes from our own vineyard at Winselerhof, ripening in the Limburg sun. Local isn't a sales pitch here; it's simply what's on the table.
Hospitality is made by people
At Hotel De Zon, Bert has been taking care of breakfast for fifty years. Fifty years. He knows how you take your coffee before you've said a word. That's no accident, that's who we are. With around three hundred people we're there for you across seven places, all year round. Literally day and night: somewhere a light is always on, and someone is always awake for you.
