The story
Aurora is the name this building has borne for a hundred years.
On this spot along the Nieuweweg, Pension Aurora once began – the guesthouse that would later flourish into Hof van Gelre. Aurora is Latin for dawn, and that's precisely how it still feels here. Light filtering through panoramic windows, the aroma of fresh coffee, a table set and waiting. You settle in for lunch, drinks or dinner, and time simply slows down.
